My Mission

My mission is to help inspire and enrich the lives of others. YOU ARE CAPABLE of so much more than you think.

Challenging our bodies can lead to building up an inner strength we may not have perceived as possible.

It’s less about how we look but more about how we speak to ourselves on a daily basis and the power of self belief!

From a very young age I always had a lot of energy. I was a competitive swimmer since the age of 5 and grew up swimming 8 times a week. 5am before school and again after school. I have dyslexia, which made school hard for me. I had trouble reading and writing, so I felt discouraged and incapable at times. Giving it my all in school was very disheartening when not seeing the results I had hoped. However, the challenge gave me a huge drive to not only try harder in school but do more of what I was good at… sports!

I then went on to college to complete my NVQ 3 in Personal Training. From there I worked in gyms around my hometown and started to lift weights. My inspiring coach, Rob, introduced me to HIIT training. I fell in love with that training style and haven’t looked back since.

After living in Australia and New Zealand and partying WAY too much, I moved to Whistler, Canada. Knowing I wanted to live here long term, I worked towards gaining my permanent residency so that I could go back to encouraging and motivating as many people as possible. Moving to Whistler and skiing lots, I still loved the party lifestyle and I was going out a lot. Not only was the money in my bank account diminishing but my health was taking a toll too. Through my own journey, I realized that I am the only person that can make long lasting changes for myself. And I’m here to tell you that YOU are capable of chasing any dream you desire, and I’m here to help you.

Alex Your Instructor

Here in Whistler there are so many incredible things to do, I like backcountry skiing, mountain biking and hiking. However, I needed a challenge to pull me out of the imposter syndrome I was feeling in becoming a coach again. I decided to do an Ironman 70.3 (half Ironman). The things that I learned about myself at this time were life changing. I would run in the snow at 5am and show up for myself every day to complete workouts, whether I felt like it or not. The sense of community and support when training for this really made me appreciate where I live! It also showed me another side to this town seeing all the driven and motivated people day in and day out getting after it.

After a couple of Ironman’s and missing the strength training I reverted back to the gym. Picking up a pair of dumbbells and getting my sweat on is where I truly feel alive. Small wins every day in HIIT training is truly magical. Completing your first set of 50 pushups that you may have never felt capable of. Whether it’s doing a burpee for the first time or completing your first ever 5k… it’s my mission to help people from all walks of life achieve whatever fitness goals that make them feel alive.

I can’t wait to provide fun & challenging classes to those that are ready to fulfill their full potential.
